- Open the Charging case and put the AirPods in your ears.
- Now, in MacBook, click on the Sound icon on the top-right menu bar
- Select the AirPods name on the list of Output Devices.
- Now, your AirPods should be connected, play any music to test it out.
In case your Airpods didn’t pair with the Macbook, ensure that your macOS version should be the latest, macOS Catalina is the latest right now (as of April 2020).
How to Pair AirPods with MacBook
Here’s how you can pair your AirPods Pro with your MacBook Air or MacBook Pro.
- Open the Charging case and put the Airpods in your ears.
- Now go back to MacBook, click on the Bluetooth from System Preference
- Turn on the Bluetooth
- Select the AirPods from the devices’ list.
Now you can try some music on your AirPods playing in your MacBook. There you may face some troubles due to Bluetooth issues. As it won’t give the same connectivity strength as AirPods paired with iPhone but you can listen to the music while working on your MacBook when your iPhone is on charging.
